Svenskjävlar! (Swedish Bastards)

These were awful in every way.

Had heard of these for a while so decided to try them. They are salty and you probably don’t have more than one but I liked them very much!

I wanted to love these but it’s asking too much. I love strong, salty licorice as do others in my family. No one can eat these. Not only is the taste unpleasant but the feel. My son said it hurt his mouth. When I put one in my mouth I could only imagine that’s what battery acid would taste like. Just no.

I bought this for my boss as a Christmas gift. He is Danish. It was also shared with my best friends husband. He is SWEDISH. Both of these people said they could not eat it. They LOVE salty licorice. My boss's favorite is salmiak!! This was simply too much. It's not even enjoyable (I tried it and had to spit it out). It's disgusting. I really wanted to like this brand, but going back to Lakrids, sorry. I know y'all want to be unique and different, but no. Just no. My boss actually gave the jar back to me even though it was a gift!!!
